At Your Service

JLK Artistry offers free express parcel post shipping for all online orders delivered within Australia.  

JLK Artistry is a bespoke manufacturing jeweller and we do not mass produce any of our stock items. If the piece is not available at the time of your order, our team will make your special piece to order. We will be in contact with you within 24 hours to update you on the status of you order if this is the case.

JLK Artistry fine jewellery is shipped to you under JLK Artistry's account so your jewellery order will be insured whilst in transit to you.

All JLK Artistry deliveries require a signature on delivery for added security.

Once the order is placed you will receive an email confirmation from our team and they will also provide the tracking number to give you tractability once the jewellery has been dispatched.

Click & collect option is also available, please make a note at checkout.

DELIVERY TIMES

Items on hand will be dispatched within two days of the order being placed.

If your order isn’t currently in stock and needs be handcrafted just for you, our team will provide an expected delivery date. This date will vary dependent on the complexity of design and materials required such as diamonds or gemstones, in non peak periods this is approximately 4-6 weeks. 

You will receive and email notifying you of the availability and delivery time for the piece of jewellery you have ordered.

If your order is placed over a weekend or national holiday period your order will be processed on the first business day following the holiday period. Orders will not be dispatched on weekends or public holidays. 

If it is an urgent request, please contact jlkartistry@gmail.com and we will inform you of the delivery time for the particular piece you’re interested in.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All online orders are sold inclusive of GST.

When the jewellery items being purchased are delivered overseas they may be subject to Customs Duties and Import Taxes depending on your location. 

Any additional charges or fees for customs clearance must be covered by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances. For the latest information on customs duties and import taxes, please visit the customs website relevant for your country.

It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask us to do any of the above.

Prior to order dispatch, goods are carefully inspected by JLK Artistry to ensure your items leave in perfect condition. Your goods are then carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in the exact same condition. In the event that your goods arrive in a damaged or less than perfect condition, please notify us immediately by email to jlkartistry@gmail.com.

As goods require signature on delivery, please ensure you nominate a suitable address so you can receive the goods once they arrive during business hours. If you nominate a business address, you will need to include the name of the company to ensure the courier can find you easily. We are unable to redirect goods once the order has been dispatched.

In the event of an unsuccessful delivery, you will receive notification from the courier company and arrangements will be made to finalise delivery. If goods cannot be delivered and go unclaimed, they will be returned to JLK Artistry. If you require us to dispatch the package for a second time, you will be charged an additional shipping fee and the same guidelines (as above) apply to this new delivery.

Order cut off and delivery time frames are provided as a guide only. We do not take responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances which may cause your delivery to be late. These include strikes, natural disasters and any other reasons beyond our control.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

A Few Short Steps

Return and Exchange

It is our intention to deliver quality jewellery however we understand that occasionally the goods may not meet your expectations. If you wish to return or exchange an item, please familiarise yourself with our Return/Exchange Policy below; Before your purchase is shipped to you, we personally inspect your items to ensure they are in perfect condition. Your purchase is then carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in the same condition. In the event that your purchase arrives in a damaged or less than perfect condition, please notify us immediately so we can address the issue. You can do this by emailing jlkartistry@gmail.com.



Returns Procedure

You must notify us of your intention to return any item within 7 days of delivery. You can do this by emailing jlkartistry@gmail.com or by calling us on +61 413 417 071. We will send you an email to confirm the request has been received.

We accept items for exchange within 14 days from delivery date if they are in original condition, unused, and not altered, with all the original packaging intact. Any jewellery that has been personalised, worn, altered or resized will not be exchanged. Be sure to retain proof of posting from your secure courier, as we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us. Please note we do not cover return postage, except in the case of goods being faulty or if a product has been wrongly described. In the event an item needs to be returned due to a manufacturing fault, we will provide you with a return shipping bag and cover the costs for the return. Once we receive the item, we will inspect it to consider your return reasons before offering one of the following:

Exchange: We will happily exchange your ring size if the item has not been worn, washed or damaged in any way. Items must be returned in their original condition for an exchange to be considered. Items can only be exchanged once, so please choose carefully.

Credit Note: We may offer a credit note if you simply change your mind once you have received your purchase. The above conditions apply. The credit note is valid for future online or in store purchases (note there is a one year expiry date on our credit notes) and must be redeemed by contacting jlkartistry@gmail.com so your credit can be authorised.

Refund: JLK Artistry do not offer refunds for instore purchases unless there is a manufacturing fault or if the item is not fit for purpose. If the piece isn’t right for you we would be happy to offer a credit note to the value of the piece(s).

Online purchases may be considered for a refund if the item is different to how it was illustrated on the website. This is providing the item has not been worn or damaged in any way. Items must be returned in their original condition with packaging for a refund to be considered. Once the returned goods have been checked over, we will contact you to notify and action.

Gift vouchers are not redeemable for a cash refund. 

Faulty Products

If you believe the goods to be faulty after wearing them, the item can be sent back for appraisal. Please refer to our warranty information policy for details.

You must notify us of your intention to return the faulty item. You can do this by emailing jlkartistry@gmail.com where the returns procedure will take effect.

Once we receive the item, we will look it over and consider the claim to deem if it is faulty. If the return reason is valid we will offer you a refund, exchange or credit. If the return reason is not valid, we will contact you to discuss the outcome.

We aim to process all returns as soon as possible, and will send an email when your parcel has been received and your refund processed where applicable. Your refund will be credited to the original credit card used for purchase. Some card refunds may take a further few days to show up on your account.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Essential Information

At JLK Artistry we pride ourselves on our workmanship and offer a 12 month warranty. This is a quality guarantee that covers anything relating to the crafting of your piece of jewellery such as faulty workmanship. 

General wear and tear, loss or accidental damage from negligence/trauma is not covered by our manufacturer’s warranty. Any repairs or work not done by JLK Artistry will void this warranty. 

We encourage you to look after your jewellery. Caring for your jewellery is similar to looking after your car in that both need to be cleaned and serviced regularly. 

We are passionate about creating high quality jewellery which, when cared for properly, can be handed down through generations. We encourage you to reach out throughout the years to have your jewellery cleaned and checked regularly.

Your Data is Safe

General

JLK Artistry is fully committed to providing a secure website and shopping experience for our customers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the December 2001 amendments to the 'Act', any personal information collected through www.jlkartistry.com.au or when visiting our studio will be handled with the strictest of confidence; and stored securely and never on-sold.

Personal Information we collect:


Online Device Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Order Information

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (credit card tokens, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

In-Store Information

When you make a purchase in-store we collect personal information from you such as; name, telephone number, address, email address and reason for your purchase.

How we use your personal information:


Online information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to; communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For example, we use Wix to power our online store. 

In-store Information

Details collected in store such as name, telephone number and email address allow us to facilitate orders, send you your certificate of sale, verify your identity for security, provide you with an invoice, facilitate shipping and to alert you of our key business updates/ invitations through the year. Our customers can choose to opt out of inclusion on our mailing list for marketing and event information.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site or in-store, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Behavioural Advertising and Analytics (Google & Facebook)

The JLK Artistry website utilises 3rd party vendor remarketing tracking cookies (like the Google Adwords tracking cookie and Facebook Pixel).

Remarketing through the use of remarketing tracking cookies or pixels enables us to show ads across the internet to you after you have visited our website.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information through the use of Google or Facebook analytics services.

The third-party vendors, such as Google and Facebook, whose services we use, will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. This allows us to make special offers and continue to market our services to those who have shown interest in our services.

You may opt-out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Ads Preferences Manager.

You can opt-out of Facebook’s use of cookies and Facebook Pixel Re-Marketing through settings on your Facebook Account.
